Inside the Session

Disco rhythms, soulful voices, and loose percussion settle into an easy stride as Louie Vega, Dave Lee, Ron Carroll, and Mijangos let the floor find its pace. From there, the music moves inward. Franke Estevez FUZION, Tedd Patterson, and Joeski bring deeper tension and hypnotic weight before the room opens again.

Wamdue Project, David Morales, Quentin Harris, and Jocelyn Brown carry the session toward release.

Hidden Currents is about the movement underneath: the quiet pull between disco, soul, percussion, and deeper House.

A room finds its warmth when powerful voices give way to the steady gravity of the low end.

Inside the Session

Martha Wash, under DJ Spen and Reelsoul's touch, brings unmistakable vocal authority; Terry Dexter and Wez Whynt follow with an effortless glide. Ezel and The Journey Men stretch the harmony outward, giving the floor space to breathe before the groove begins to draw inward.

Then the balance shifts.

Paride Saraceni and Danny Buddah Morales bring percussive weight and stripped-back pressure. Da Capo's hypnotic rework for Zakes Bantwini tightens the pulse before the rolling call of South Street Player takes hold.

Between Pulse and Song lives in that transition: the point where songs become movement, emotion becomes physical, and separate bodies begin to move as one room.

ON LISTENINGA little room for the unexpected

House Music as a living continuum. Records from different decades, cities and traditions meet through groove, swing, musicianship and emotional depth.

Rooted in soul, disco and garage, the selections move through deep rhythms, open voices and contemporary House. An older record and a new discovery can feel entirely at home together.

You don’t have to recognise the record. Give it a little time. There’s room for familiar favourites and for the music you didn’t know you needed.

ON THE GROOVEMusic that leaves space

A groove doesn’t need to hurry. It can hold a conversation, invite a small movement, or give you somewhere to rest your attention.

As resident selector and host, Jorge JZN reads the room, connecting records across eras and traditions. He lets the journey unfold gradually, listening for the pocket and the emotional movement between records.

The selection serves the gathering: music with enough presence to bring us together, and enough space to let us be ourselves.
